This summer was especially balmy, and being a starving college student, I was poor on funds. This meant spending a high air conditioning bill expenses was out of the question. Luckily, I happened to be lending a helping hand with my friend who was transferring to an even more cold environment. I spied his oscillating pedestal fan by just sitting there, patiently waiting to deliver me from the oppressive heat wave that swept the location, suppressing free thought and relaxation on all who were in its domineering grip.

Not to mention it was a pedestal fan with remote control. Hallelujah! My requests had been answered by one of several pedestal fans.
