A Health Teacher Motivates His Students To Learn More About Alcoholic Symptoms, Signs Of Alcoholism, And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Mr. Johnson was one of the health instructors at a large countryside junior high school in the Eastern part of the United States. For "Alcohol Comprehension Month" he made up his mind that he would feature the following three topics for a class project: the symptoms of alcoholism, the signs of alcoholism, and alcoholic symptoms.

After Mr. Johnson put the final touches on the topics that would be given to his students, he determined that he would provide them with their assignment the following Friday. When "assignment day" finally came, Mr. Johnson met with the students in his class, handed out some appropriate facts and statistics, and then told the pupils in his class about the topics he ultimately selected.

He then gave the pupils in his class a summary of some important signs of alcoholism and highlighted how imperative it is to gain knowledge about and learn how to link these symbols, facts, and statistics with the day-to-day circumstances of people addicted to alcohol. He then gave his pupils a concise articulation about the significance of learning more about individuals dependent on alcohol and how they live on a daily basis.

Mr. Johnson informed the students in his class that they could give their attention to one of the three topics or talk about all three topics and how they are interconnected. Fundamentally this would be not unlike a simple summary but done more completely.

Another selection that he offered to the pupils in his class was the following: select a topic such as alcohol dependency symptoms and signs, research things in a more thorough fashion, and then go over three or four signs and symptoms. Mr. Johnson then discussed the fact that the same principals apply to the other two topics, namely, alcoholic symptoms and the symptoms of alcoholism.

The end result of their research project would be a six thousand word composition and then a fifteen minute oral presentation that would be presented in front of all the members of the class. As appreciation for their special academic success, the pupils with the top three overall grades on the composition and on the oral presentation will be invited to present the end product their inquiry at the tri-state drug and alcohol abuse conference during the last five days of March.

As declared by Mr. Johnson, due to the fact that there are numerous alcohol addiction signs and symptoms to select, he brought up the fact that he was not overly alarmed about more than one student settling on the same symptoms and signs for their research project. Without a doubt, even if multiple students were to choose virtually the same symptoms and signs, the illustrations that are related to each symptom or sign would without doubt add enough diversity to keep away from two or more pupils presenting exactly the same content.

Mr. Johnson then discussed the fact that while there are quite a few alcoholism symptoms and signs that could be selected, the variety of alcohol addiction facts and statistics that could be mentioned were practically unlimited. When the topic of alcoholic symptoms was added to the equation, moreover, the pupils grasped pretty swiftly that the three topics would offer a huge amount of information from which to select.

Why did Mr. Johnson opt for the signs of alcoholism, alcoholic symptoms, and the symptoms of alcoholism as the topics for this undertaking? Mr. Johnson thought that by increasing the understanding of his students about the devastating outcomes of alcoholism and the disappointing existence suffered by alcohol dependent people, his pupils might think more sensibly before they got involved in careless and irresponsible drinking behavior.
